IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager - Attractive Salary. Our client, a market leader & household name, is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to be based in Dubai. Reporting to the Regional IS&S Manager, Africa & Middle East, you will be responsible for managing heterogeneous infrastructures across the region. This includes generating a business competitive advantage by providing infrastructure & all computing resources to the business. You will be required to procure & deploy appropriate equipment, systems & software to meet infrastructure & end-user technology requirements, including client-server technologies, WAN/LAN, Telecommunications & Security. The role will involve the analysis of IT solutions & industry trends along with participating in new technology evaluations. The ideal candidate must have a college Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology & eight years professional experience in provisioning & managing computing & services. Experience in dealing with multi-faceted IT budgets with emphasis on developing annual IT budgets & tracking monthly expenditures against plan is vital. You should be proficient in Wintel & UNIX system architecture, multilayer LAN architecture & heterogeneous WAN topology i.e. IPLC, ATM, FR, MPLS, etc. You must also have managed at least two complete infrastructure projects & be competent in information security, vulnerability assessment & DR. To be considered for the role, you must have excellent analytical, problem solving & good leadership skills. Excellent written & oral skills in English, project management & good presentation skills are also required. You should possess good computer skills particularly with project management tools. Certification in Six Sigma, ISO9000 & ITIL is an added advantage.
